Since 1998, Kroepel & Associates, Inc. has been providing high-quality real estate appraisal reports for banks, mortgage lenders, attorneys, estates, municipalities, and private individuals. We are FHA certified, and currently cover the West Michigan counties of Oceana and Newaygo. (Some surrounding areas may be available upon request). We also pride ourselves on our turnaround times, as most of our appraisal reports are completed within one week from the date of the appraisal inspection.
Appraisals are required for all federally-related transactions (new purchases, new construction loans, and bank refinancing), and are also ordered for other home equity loans and real estate backed lines of credit, estate settlement purposes, divorce cases, tax assessment challenges and appeals, sellers wanting to determine an appropriate listing or sale price, homebuyers who are purchasing with cash or with seller-financing, and for those individuals curious about the value or equity in their own home or property. Real estate appraisers are licensed third-party experts who are hired to give a professional, non-biased value opinion, unaffiliated with the property or the transaction. They adhere to state and federal laws, and conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
